On Tuesday Justin took off of work so we could have a family day to celebrate Tyler's 4th birthday. Because it was snowing we had to do something indoors. Tyler decided he wanted to go to Mr Biggs. It had been quite a while since we had gone. While we were there we were the only ones there. The boys still had a great time, but it was somewhat odd being the only ones in the building. Tyler loved the fire truck the best. He also liked shooting the balls around the ball room. Carter however did not like the sound of the air guns. After Mr Biggs we had a quick lunch at McDonald's (Tyler's choice) and then home from naps.
For dinner we met up with Heather for dinner at Red Robin. Tyler loved that they all sang to him and he got ice cream. If that wasn't enough sugar we came home, where Leah and Seth met us, to have an ambulance cake made by Justin, ice cream, and open presents. The boys had a great time and it was such a nice low key birthday. Tyler did ask why more people didn't come to his party. We reminded him to be thankful for the people who did come. Overall I think he would say his birthday was pretty darn good. Of course bringing cupcakes to preschool the next day was pretty special too!
